Installation
(1) Remove cover (1) from the control valve. Remove right door (2) or the cover from the rear of the tractor. (2) Remove bolt (3) and disconnect cable (4) from the valve. Bolt (3) will not be used again; the 9M1974 Washer (5) will be used. Remove five bolts (6) and cover (7) from the control valve. (3) On all earlier winches with check valves (29U1-29U380, 30U1-30U303, 31U1-31U234, 32U1-32U252, 33U1-33U289, 34U1-34U193, 35U1-35U499, 36U1-36U334, and 37U1-37U326), bolts (6), cover (7), valve (8), plug (9), gasket (10) and the O-ring seals will not be used again. Four of the lockwashers (11) will be used. (4) On later winches with not-adjustable sequence valves (12), the following parts will not be used again: cover (7), gasket (10), plug (13), spring (14), and the O-ring seals. Valve spool (12), three of the bolts (6) and four of the lockwashers (11) will be used. (5) Install 3P4660 Spool (12), 8P346 Spring (15), 8P325 Stop Assembly (16), 2M9780 Seal (17) and 6P9959 Plug (18) in 8P345 Body Assembly (19). Push down and turn stop (16) until slot (A) in stop (16) is in alignment with either arrow (B) for "INCH" position or arrow (C) for "NO INCH" position as desired. Install the 1J9671 Seal and 9S8003 Plug (20). (6) Install 4K2039 Seal (21), 4J7533 Seal and 9S8001 Plug (22) in body assembly (19). Install body assembly (19) on the control valve with new 1H9696 Seal (23), 6F5559 Seal, 2P3644 Gasket (10), four 3B4505 Lockwashers (11), three 2B2694 Bolts (6) and 1B7182 Bolt (24). Put the control cable in body assembly (19), and install the 1D4539 Bolt and 9M1974 Washer at location (D). (7) Install right door (2) or the cover on the rear of the tractor. Install cover (1) over the control valve.
