(2) Remove push arm bracket (1) from each push arm (2) with an air carbon arc torch. Grind all surfaces smooth. (3) Move push arm bracket (1) forward on each push arm (2) 35 mm (1.38") to the dimension shown.
Care must be taken to ensure that the push arm brackets are relocated the same distance from the side face of the push arm as when originally installed.
(4) Weld the push arm brackets to each push arm with 10 mm (.39") fillet weld. Taper the welds at the end (A) of each bracket. Use E7018 Electrodes for all welding.
Do not weld across the ends of the brackets.
(5) Install the new 4T9489 U-Dozer or 4T9568 S-Dozer. See the Service Manual.
