(175) Valid Limit Range (176) Laser Strike Indicator
Use the machine's control lever in order to raise the blade until the laser strike indicator (176) is within the valid limit range (175). Once a valid limit is achieved "OK" will be shown in the lower right of the "<- Valve Calibration" message screen. Once a valid limit is selected, a graphic "Cal Limit" tick mark (190) is drawn.

Press the "OK/Right Reset/Right Bench" button (188) in order to continue.Note: The user must successfully set the upper limit before continuing to the next screen. You can press any switch on the display except the "OK/Right Reset/Right Bench" button (188) and the "Left Mast Elevation/Menu Scroll" switch (181) in order to abort the "automatic valve calibration". The "Exit-Error" screen is displayed with the text "Abort" when you abort the calibration. If an error is detected, the "Exit-Error" screen is displayed. The possible causes of errors are listed below:
No Sensor information
The Limit Measurement is too close to the sensor rail.
Unstable Laser Transmitter

Once the system is placed in automatic mode, blade movement may occur.Ensure that all personnel are clear of the blade before you place the system in automatic mode.Personal injury or death from crushing could occur.

Press the "Right Mast Elevation/Menu Scroll" switch (181) in order to begin calibration. This will cause the calibration progress screen to be shown on the display.The calibration progress screen displays status information that represents the percent of calibration that is completed. The "Exit-Success" screen will be shown on the display after the calibration is complete.Note: Press the "ESC/Left Reset/Left Bench" (186) in order to abort the calibration.
Press the OK/right reset button (188) in order to return to the "Valve Calibration" menu.
Use the right mast elevation/menu scroll (181) in order to select " Valve Calibration ->" in order to calibrate the tilt valve.
Repeat Steps 10 through Steps 13.a using the tilt function for the blade.
Place the power/setup switch (187) in the ON position in order to return to the Guidance screen.Operation and Maintenance Manual
