Raise the counterweight frame (9) to a level position and support with stands. Refer to Illustration 17.

Install one link (12) to each side of the counterweight frame. Use two pins (6), two plates (2), and four bolts (14). Tighten bolts (14) to a torque of 370 50 N m (270 35 N m). Refer to Illustration 18.

Connect bracket (10) and bracket (11) to link assembly (12). Use two pins. Refer to Illustration 19.

Align the flanges on pin (4) into the retaining plate on the inside of bracket (10) and bracket (11). Secure each pin with one plate (2) and two bolts (14). Tighten bolts to a torque of 370 50 N m (270 35 lb ft). Refer to illustration 20.Assembly Of the Counterweights

Install tube assemblies (18) in the bottom of counterweight frame (9). Refer to Illustration 21.

Install three counterweights (7) to the counterweight frame (9). Refer to Illustration 22.

Install two plates (8) and two plates (13) to counterweight frame (9). Refer to Illustration 23.Note: Position plates (8) and (13) in a manner that minimizes the gap between plate (8), plate (13), and counterweight frame (9) at location (A). Refer to Illustrations 23 and 24. Minimizing the gaps will provide a good bolted joint in Step 4.

Install four plates (19) and two plates (20) to the top of counterweight frame (9). Use twelve bolts (15) and twelve washers (17). Tighten bolts (15) to a torque of 620 80 N m (450 60 lb ft). Refer to Illustration 24.Note: Refer to ""Parts For the Fast Fuel Adapter"" if your machine is equipped with 226-3768 Fast Fuel Adapter .After assembly is complete, prepare the machine for use. Install hose assembly (31) .
Fasten bracket (30) to plate (22) with bolt (26) and washer (27). Tighten bolt (26) to a torque of 240 40 N m (175 30 lb ft).
Assemble grommet (25), clip (23), and clip (24) onto hose assembly (31) .
Fasten the clips and grommet assembly to bracket (30) with bolt (28) and washer (29). Tighten bolt (28) to a torque of 100 20 N m (75
