The CID 268 diagnostic code is associated with the configuration parameters of the Implement ECM. The FMI 02 means that the Implement ECM has determined that a configuration parameter is not correct or the configuration parameter is not programmed. The ECM will list the parameter that is causing the problem. The programmable parameters that may cause this code to activate are listed.

Use Caterpillar Electronic Technician (Cat ET) to reset the configuration to the default setting configuration. Reset the installation status to the correct type for the attachments that are installed on the machine.
