Press the "OK" key (10) .
Select the correct setting file for your use.
Press the "OK" key (10) in order to confirm the settings, or press the Escape key (4) in order to exit without saving.Display Brightness
The brightness of the Display screen should be adjusted in order to suit your working conditions. The brightness of the display can be adjusted using the following key combinations.
To increase the display brightness, hold down on the "Menu" key (11) and press the "+" key (7) .
In order to decrease the display brightness, hold down on the "Menu" key (11) and press the "-" key (9) .Operating Mode
Choose an operating mode for the AccuGrade Laser System. The following modes are available:Linked - Used to link both laser receivers to be parallel with the cutting edge of the bladeNote: When the Linked mode is chosen, only one laser needs to be benched.Independent - Used when both laser receivers need to be controlled independently.Note: When the Independent mode is chosen, both lasers need to be benched.Benchmark The System
Note: A linked calibration must be done before the system can be benched.To make sure that the machine is grading to the correct elevation, the cutting edge of the machine must be benched over a point with known elevation. This point is known as a benchmark.Using a Level Laser
Level the cutting edge of the machine.
Place the center of the blade tip on the benchmark.Make sure that you do not move the benchmark. If necessary, put the blade tip next to the benchmark.
Press and hold the "OK" key when the center of the blade is on the benchmark.The "Bench" screen will open.
Use the Arrow Keys in order to choose the left or the right laser. Press the "OK" key.The mast will begin to move automatically in order to search for the laser beam. The search for the laser beam will stop when the laser receiver is on-grade.This process is called auto benching.Note: In order to obtain the best results, the cutting edge must be parallel to the laser beam.Illustration 12 shows the position of the machine's cutting edge. The blade must be positioned as shown in Illustration 12 in order to properly bench the system with a level laser.

The elevation of the benchmark or a reference elevation may be entered into the Display. In order to enter the elevation, proceed through the following steps.

Press the "Menu" Key (6) in order to access the configuration menu. The screen in Illustration 13 appears. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Display" for more information on the buttons and switches on the Display.
Select "Bench" with the Arrow Keys (8) .Refer to Illustration 13.
