Illustration 1 is an example of a "Do Not Operate" warning tag. Ensure that operations area entry procedures are followed.To follow this procedure:
Confirm the fault condition exists
Identify the conditions that may generate the fault
Eliminate faults in order of the general causeNote: In general, faults are caused by problems in the following order: physical damage, environmental damage, harness failure, component failure and Electronic Control Module (ECM) failure.Reference: Refer to the Electrical System Schematic module in the Service Manual when using this procedure.Test Step 1. MEASURE VOLTAGE ON PINS 2 AND 5 OF THE HARNESS CONNECTOR TO THE AUTONOMOUS CONTROL ENABLE SWITCH

(6) Autonomous control enable switch
(7) Autonomous control enable switch connector

(9) Automation Interface Control Module (ICM)
(10) AICM connector
(11) Battery disconnect switch
Move battery disconnect switch (11) to the OFF position.
Disconnect Autonomous Control Enable switch connector (7) from Autonomous Control Enable switch (6).
Move battery disconnect switch (11) to the ON position.
At Autonomous Control Enable switch connector (7), measure the voltage between:
Pin 2 and chassis ground
Pin 5 and chassis groundExpected Result:
