Increased wear of the blade trunnion ball on certain D3C, D4C, and D5C III Track-Type Tractors may exist resulting in an excessive amount of play in the blade.

Failure definition: If free play exists between the 3G2569 Bearing Cap and the 7j5131/">7J5131 Trunnion after removing all 8E5702 Shims, then the trunnion is considered worn out.
1. Remove the blade from the machine.2. Remove the existing 7j5131 trunnion from the blade.3. Weld a new 7j5131/">7J5131 Trunnion to the blade. (See Illustration 1)
