Modification of Restriction Valve Function
PIN 3BG09021-09104 Only
After disconnecting the supply pipe to the boom cylinder head end, remove four internal parts; snap ring (A), seat (B), spring (C), and valve (D). from the body (E). Reconnect the supply line. These parts will not be used again.Modification of Slow Return Valve Function
PIN 3BG09105-Up
Install the slow return valve in the supply line for the stick cylinder rod end. This valve will be located on the boom.Adjust the slow return valve by turning cover (7) counterclockwise (left) until its movement (in the direction of arrow) is blocked by the shoulder of body (6). The return oil from the rod end will no longer be restricted.Pilot Lines
Use the following procedure to disassemble the pilot lines.
(A) Bolt 20 mm. (B) Bolt 30 mm. (C) Lock Washer. (D) Flat Washer. (E) Clamp small. (F) Clamp large. (G) Spacer.1. Remove each clamp set (OO), (PP), (QQ), and two sets of (NN) as shown in the illustration.2. Disconnect and remove the following flexible hoses. These hoses will not be reused.* 931125 Hose connecting R-3 port of Boom I section in control valve A to R-3 port of right pilot control valve.* 931117 Hose connecting R-1 port of Boom I section in control valve A to R-1 port of right pilot control valve.* 960057 Hose connecting R-1 port of Boom II section in control valve B to R-1 port of Boom I section in control valve A.* 931125 Hose connecting L-1 port of stick section in control valve B to L-1 port of left pilot control valve. 3. Disconnect and remove 951425 Connectors (Detail K) from R-3 port of Boom I section in control valve A and R-1 port of Boom II section in control valve B. 951425 Connectors will not be used again.4. Disconnect T-joint and O-ring (Detail H) from R-1 port of Boom I section in control valve A.Use the following procedure to assemble the new pilot lines: 1. Connect 937545 T-joint (Detail C) and new 951579 O-ring (29) to R-1 port of Boom I section of control valve A.2. Connect 951496 elbows, 90° (Details B and D) and new 951579 O-rings (29) to R-3 port of Boom I section in control valve A and R-1 port of Boom II section in control valve B respectively.3. Install 996645 Connectors (21) and 951582 O-rings (19) to the six ports of the 996646 Shock Reducing Valve (17) [Detail A].4. Install four flexible hoses between control valves and shock reducing valve (17) as follows:* Install 931114 Hose (14) from T-joint in R-1 port of Boom I section to port 3 of shock reducing valve (17).* Install 966067 Hose (13) from T-joint in R-1 port of Boom I section to 90° elbow in R-1 port of Boom II section.* Install 931115 Hose (16) from 90° elbow in R-3 port of Boom I section to port 2 of shock reducing valve (17).* Install 931115 Hose (16) from L-1 port of stick section to port 1 of shock reducing valve (17).5.

Connect 937545 T-joint (Detail C) and new 951579 O-ring (29) to R-1 port of Boom I section of control valve A.2. Connect 951496 elbows, 90° (Details B and D) and new 951579 O-rings (29) to R-3 port of Boom I section in control valve A and R-1 port of Boom II section in control valve B respectively.3. Install 996645 Connectors (21) and 951582 O-rings (19) to the six ports of the 996646 Shock Reducing Valve (17) [Detail A].4. Install four flexible hoses between control valves and shock reducing valve (17) as follows:* Install 931114 Hose (14) from T-joint in R-1 port of Boom I section to port 3 of shock reducing valve (17).* Install 966067 Hose (13) from T-joint in R-1 port of Boom I section to 90° elbow in R-1 port of Boom II section.* Install 931115 Hose (16) from 90° elbow in R-3 port of Boom I section to port 2 of shock reducing valve (17).* Install 931115 Hose (16) from L-1 port of stick section to port 1 of shock reducing valve (17).5.
