(1) Air compressor (2) NutPerform the following steps in order to properly tighten the nut:
Tighten the nut to a torque of 165 10 N m (120 7 lb ft).
Use a soft faced hammer and a 213-3530 Socket and tap the gear one time. Tighten the nut to a torque of 165 10 N m (120 7 lb ft).
Use a soft faced hammer and a 213-3530 Socket and tap the gear one time. Tighten the nut to a torque of 165 10 N m (120 7 lb ft). (3) Gear (4) BoltTighten the bolt that holds the air compressor line on engines that are equipped with this hose assembly. Tighten the bolt to the following torque. ... 30 7 N m (22 5 lb ft)Use the following procedure to mount the air compressor.
Install two bolts (A) and tighten the bolts to a torque of 100 20 N m (75 15 lb ft).
Install the following four bolts finger tight: (B) , (C) and (D) .
Tighten one bolt (B) to a torque of 50 10 N m (37 7 lb ft).
Tighten two bolts (C) to a torque of 55 10 N m (40 7 lb ft).
Tighten one bolt (D) to a torque of 28 7 N m (21 5 lb ft).
