Information:

(5) Warm the inner race of bearing (444) for 10 minutes in an oil (6) Instal the inner race of bearing (444) onto drive shaft (101). 1. Hold drive shaft (101) in a vice so that the splined end is downward.2. Intall the inner race of bearing (444) that was warmed in step (5) onto drive shaft (101). * Work quickly before the inner race of bearing (444) cools. (7) Place casing (301) on the workbench so the brake portion comes on top.(8) Insert the drive shaft assembly into casing (301), and press fit bearing (443) into casing (301) using steel rod and a hand hammer. * Tap and press fit the outer race of bearing (443) evenly while preventing it from tilting to form an angle. (9) Install locking ring (437) in casing (301) with locking ring pliers. (10) Install spacer (107) onto drive shaft (101).(11) Install spline joint (703) on drive shaft (101). * The amount of clearance between the inner diameter of the spline joint and the oil seal sliding surface is very small. Use extra care not to damage any part when removing the joint.(12) Install stopring (431) on the drive shaft with stopring pliers. (13) Install friction plate (742) on joint (703).(14) Put a thin coat of hydraulic oil on O-rings (706), (707) and install them on brake piston (702). (15) Install brake piston (702) in casing (301). * When installing the brake piston, be sure to align the pin hole with pin (452) on front cover (304). (16) Install spring seats (713), brake springs (712) and remaining spring seats (713) on brake piston (702) in this order as shown below. (17) Put a thin coat of hydraulic oil on O-ring (471) and install it in casing (301). (18) Press fit oil seal (491) into front cover (304) using press fitting tool and a hand hammer. * Align the axes of oil seal (491) and the housing of front cover (304) while preventing oil seal (491) from tilting to form an angle. (19) Apply a thin coat of grease to the lip of oil seal (491). (20) Put a thin coat of hydraulic oil on O-ring (474) and install it in front cover (304).(21) Apply vinyl tapes to the end splines of drive shaft (101) and the groove for stopring. This is to protect the oil seal from damage when installing it.(22) Install front cover (304) to casing (301). (23) Put lock-tight compound on the threads of hexagon socket bolts (304) and tighten the bolts to hold front cover (304) to casing (301). * Before putting lock-tight compound, remove grease or oil from the threads of the bolts and thread holes in the casing. (24) Apply grease to shoe plate (124). * To prevent shoe plate (124) from falling out during installation, apply a thin coat of grease to the surface of shoe plate (124) with the larger chamfering. (25) Insert shoe plate (124) into casing (301). * Install so that the grease
