6) Combine the shim (27) selected in step 5) with gear cap ring (6), loosely tighten the 8 bolts (36) with a hexagon socket and ratchet handle, and check to make sure that the casing turns easily. * If the casing does not turn smoothly, try a shim (27) 0.05mm (0.002") thinner and reassemble.* Check to set if shim (27) is slightly out of position. 7) Remove the 8 hexagon socket bolts (36) with a hexagon socket and ratchet handle. Remove gear coupling (6) and shim (27).Screw eye bolts into casing (1), connect wire rope with shackles, attach the rope to a crane and hoist slowly to remove casing (1). 7. Install one side of floating seal (4) into motor casing (2) using a jig. * After installation, press the jig evenly so that the seat surface will not tilt. 8. Apply a thin coat of oil to the seal surface. 9. Hoist casing (1) again with the crane and install it in motor casing (2). * If it does not go in easily, insert it while tapping around the entire circumference of the flange section lightly with a copper hammer.* Since floating seal (4) has been installed, it will stop about 10mm (0.3937") above the normal installed position. 10. Hoist casing (1) with a crane, and attach it to the workbench. * The procedure is the same as in step (3) of the disassembly procedure. 11. Clean the flange of casing (1) with thinner oil to remove oil, then dry it. Apply a coat of liquid packing. 12. Drive 2 knock pins (28) into the pin holes in casing (1) with a hammer. * Use care and insert knock pins (28) in the correct direction. 13. Clean the surface of ring gear (32) that contacts casing (1) with thinner oil to remove oil, then dry. Screw 2 lifting bolts into the 2 disassembly bolt holes in ring gear (32), attach wire ropes to the bolts with shackles and hoist ring gear (32) with a crane.Install ring gear (32) in casing (1) while using care for the 2 knock pin hole positions. * If matchmarks are available, position ring gear (32) so as to match them. 1) Lightly strike the upper surface of ring gear (32) evenly around the whole circumference with a copper hammer until the 2 knock pins (28) are all the way into the ring gear (32) pin holes and until the gap between the mating surface of casing (1) and ring gear (32) is closed. 14. Use lifting jig to install carrier (15). Install thrust collar (25) in the groove in the upper surface of the carrier. * When installing the carrier, first match the teeth of the 4 planetary gears (12) with the teeth of ring gear (32), and slowly lower it. Next, rotate the entire carrier a little at a time until the splines of carrier (15) and gear coupling (6) are coupled. 15. Insert spacers (39) into the ring gear (32)
