Assembly Procedure
Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, thoroughly clean all parts in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Do not use wiping cloths or rags to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Dirt and other contaminants can damage the precision component. Perform assembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.

Coat valve (9) with 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound. Install valve (9). Tighten valve (9) to a torque value of 25 3 N m (18 2 lb ft).

Install valve (3) to the manifold. The valve consists of the following items: plunger (8), guide (7), spring (6), spacer (5) and cap assembly (4) .

Install five O-ring seals (2) to the manifold.

Place valve (1) into position on the manifold. Install the four bolts that secure the valve.End By: Install the speed control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Speed Control Valve - Install".
