Install O-ring seal (33), backup ring (34), and O-ring seal (35) onto check valve (27).

Install O-ring seal (30), O-ring seal (31), and backup ring (32) onto cartridge assembly (29).

Install cartridge assembly (29). Tighten cartridge assembly (29) to a torque of 28 3 N m (248 27 lb in). Install coil assembly (28) and nut (26). Tighten nut (26) to a torque of 6.5 0.5 N m (57.53 4.43 lb in).
Install check valve (27). Tighten check valve (27) to a torque of 34 1 N m (301 9 lb in).

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Install O-ring seal (24), check valve (23), spring (21), O-ring seal (20), and plug (19). Repeat for plug (22). Tighten plug (19) and plug (22) to a torque of 95 10 N m (70 7 lb ft).
Apply Tooling (A) to a length of 11.0 0.5 mm (0.43 0.02 inch) to the threads of stud (25). Install stud (25). Tighten stud (25) to a torque of 70 15 N m (52 11 lb ft).

Install O-ring seal (15) to fitting (16). Install fitting (16) to pump assembly (11). Install backup ring (17) and O-ring seal (18). Tighten fitting (16) to a torque of 13 1 N m (115 9 lb in).

Install harness assembly (8) and retaining ring (7) (not shown) to the housing assembly.
Install seal (12), back up ring (13), seal (14), backup ring (9), and O-ring seal (10) to pump assembly (11). Install pump assembly (11) to the housing assembly.

Install electric filter (6). Connect harness assemblies (4). Install nuts (5). Tighten nuts (5) to a torque of 2 N m (18 lb in).

Install the O-ring seal and plug (1). Tighten plug (1) to a torque of 11 2 N m (97 18 lb in). Install manifold (3) and bolts (2).End By:
Install the water separator and fuel priming pump.
