"Download successful" window
Wait approximately 30 seconds for the firmware file to be flashed on to the Automation ICM. When successful, a "Download successful" window will appear. Select the "OK" button.

Select "Verify" button (20) on the RS232 window.
"Verify successful" should appear if the verify process was successful. Select "OK".
Select software file for PLC1 and select "Open" (19). Selecting "Open" (19) will verify the software on PLC1 with the file that was installed.

Select "Run" button (12). A "Status: Running" window will appear confirming the PLC status.

Connect the laptop computer and the Automation ICM as shown in Illustration 14. Note: Laptops with an RS232 serial port can omit adapter kit (4) and connect laptop computer (3) directly to Automation ICM PLC programming adapter (5).
Select "Download" (11).
Browse to and select PLC2 firmware (18) and then select "Open" (19).
Communications to PLC2 are confirmed when the confirmation window appears. Select "OK" . Update PLC2 Operating System
Select "Download" button (11).

Select "Exit" button (14) to close the program.
Remove the programming cables.
Replace cover (2). Replace security screws (1) using 9U-7291 Ratcheting Screwdriver and 351-1151 Posthex bit Tool.
Move the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Wait 10 seconds then move the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
