Bolts that require 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound must be cleaned. The bolts must be de-greased. Finally, the bolts must be dried before installation.
All bolts must be tightened to the specified torque and then marked.
Apply hydraulic oil to the o-rings of hydraulic components during installation.
Tighten hydraulic components until resistance increases noticeably. Tighten 30 degrees more.Required Tools

Disassemble the Hammer
Remove the Hammer from the machine. Refer to the Hammers Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Work Tool Installation and Removal".
Clean the Hammer.
Position the Hammer on a level surface. Refer to the Hammers Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Transportation Information".Note: Make sure that the Hammer is properly supported at all times.
Remove SKPAC mounting bracket from Hammer. Refer to the Hammers Service Manual, "Mounting Bracket - Remove and Install".Install the SKPAC Mounting Bracket on the Hammer Housing

Attach tool (F) to SKPAC mounting bracket (A). The combined weight is approximately 277 kg (611 lb).

Remove plugs (E) from the ports of cartridge group (7) .

Install adapter assembly (1) onto high-pressure ports. Tighten adapter assembly (1) to the required torque.

Install SKPAC mounting bracket (A) onto Hammer (D) with the following hardware: bolts (8), hard washers (9) and nuts (10) .Note: SKPAC mounting bracket (A) must be installed with hammer inlet pressure port (B) and outlet pressure port (C) as shown in Illustration 6.
Tighten bolts (8) to the required torque. Refer to Service Manual, "SKPAC Mounting Bracket Remove and Install".Installation Procedure of the Hydraulic Kit onto the Hammer
Note: The following instructions cover the installation for both sets of hydraulic kit depending on the sales model of the hammer that is being reconfigured.

Install hose assemblies (2) onto adapter assemblies (1) .
Install hose assemblies (2) onto hydraulic hammer ports (B) and (C) with the following parts: bolts (3), hard washers (4), half flanges (5) and rectangular seal (6) .
Tighten adapter assemblies (1) to the required torque.
