Air Inlet Selection Switch (5) - Selecting this switch will change the positions of the door of the fresh air inlet. When the fresh air inlet is in the open position fresh air will circulate into the cab and the indicator light will illuminate.Air Outlet Selection Switches (6) - Depress one of the four switches in order to change the selection of the air outlet.
Louvers (A) and (C) - Selecting this switch will open the air outlet for the upper body and the air outlets for the defroster.
Louvers (A), (B) and (C) - Selecting this switch will open the air outlets for the upper body, the air outlets for the floor and the air outlets for the defroster.
Louver (B) - Selecting this switch will open the air outlets for the floor.
Louver (C) - Selecting this position will open the air outlets for the defroster.
Air Conditioning Switch (7) - Push this switch in order to activate the air conditioner. Push the switch again in order to switch off the air conditioner.
Maximum cooling is selected when both indicators on the left side of the display are illuminated. Continue to push the switch with the left arrow until maximum cooling is selected. Refer to Table 1 for additional information.
Maximum heating is selected when both indicators on the right side of the display are illuminated. Continue to push the switch with the right arrow until maximum heating is selected. Refer to Table 1 for additional information.
When either switch is pushed quickly, the temperature setpoint will change by 1.0 °C (1.8 °F).
When either switch is depressed continuously, the temperature setpoint will change 1.0 °C (1.8 °F) per 0.3 second.

(1) X indicates that the Led is illuminated.In cool weather, operate the compressor weekly in order to prevent leakage of the refrigerant gas. This will also help to maintain the compressor in optimum working order.Consult with your Caterpillar dealer for periodic maintenance of the heating and air conditioning system.
