Information:
transmission does not automatically shift into neutral because of a possible failure in the Auto Neutral enabled feature. This feature requires the following to be programmed:
Auto Neutral Enabled Status - Enabled
Auto Neutral Switch Input Configuration - Switch to Ground, Switch to Battery (1 or 2), or Parking Brake
Maximum Transmission Output Speed to Enabled Auto Neutral - above 0 RPMNormal Operation - With the Auto Neutral Enable programmed to "Enabled", the transmission output speed below the programmed "Maximum Output Speed for Auto Neutral" value and the Auto Neutral Switch input open, the transmission should shift into NEUTRAL. When the switch is programmed to "Parking Brake", the parking brake must be activated.Check the following:
Check the Auto Neutral Switch status using Cat ET or a multimeter
Check the Parking Brake Input status using Cat ET or a multimeter
