Disconnect harness assembly (12). Remove clamp (13). Reposition refrigerant condenser (11) out of the way.
Remove mounting bolts (14). Remove clips (15) and (16). Reposition refrigerant dryer (17) out of the way.

Remove the cap from the hydraulic tank. Install Tooling (F) onto the hydraulic tank. Attach an air supply hose to Tooling (F). Apply 276 to 414 kPa (40 to 60 psi) of air. This procedure will pull vacuum on the hydraulic system.

Disconnect four hose assemblies (23). Disconnect hose assemblies (24), (25), and (27). Remove all the fittings. Remove bolts (26).

Remove pin (28). Remove bolts (30) and bracket (29).

Release the tension on the tracks. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Track Adjustment - Adjust".
Position Tooling (D) and Tooling (C) under the machine as shown. Refer to Tool Operating Manual, NEHS1303 , "Lift Group (Stand - 25 Ton)" for more information on Tooling (D).

Disconnect tube assembly (35). Place identifying marks on upper structure (36), on swing gear (37), and on undercarriage (38) for assembly purposes.
Remove two bolts (39) and install Tooling (E) for installation purposes.
Remove the remainder of bolts (39).
Use Tooling (C) and Tooling (D) to raise the upper structure off the undercarriage in 13 mm (0.5 inch) increments. Raise the upper structure until the upper structure is above the swivel joint. Adjust the height of Tooling (B) to keep the upper structure level. The weight of the upper structure is approximately 7983 kg (17600 lb).

Use a suitable towing device to pull undercarriage frame (40) away from the upper structure. The weight of undercarriage frame (40) is approximately 7257 kg (16000 lb).
