Introduction
An overheating hydraulic system will cause real time error code E03 to be present. The following tests should determine the cause for hydraulic system overheating. 1. Check machine operation.Machine is being operated at system relief pressure too often. Results:* YES - Instruct operator in proper operation of the machine. If conditions are not resolved, proceed to Step 2.* NO - Proceed to Step 2.2. Check hydraulic oil filter.Check hydraulic oil filter for restriction. Results:* OK - Proceed to Step 3.* NOT OK - Change the hydraulic oil return filter. If conditions are not resolved, proceed to Step 3.3. Perform Implement And Travel Relief Valve Test And Adjust. For further information refer to the section, "Implement And Travel Relief Valve Test And Adjust". Results:* REPAIRED, OK - STOP.* OK - Proceed to Step 4.4. Perform Main Pump Case Drain. For further information refer to the section, "Main Pump Case Drain". Results:* OK - Proceed to Step 5.* REPAIRED, OK - STOP.5. Perform Negative Flow Control Test. For further information refer to the section, "Negative Flow Control Test". Results:* REPAIRED, OK - STOP.* OK - Proceed to Step 6.6. Perform Radiator Air Flow Test. For further information refer to the section, "Radiator Air Flow Test". Results:* REPAIRED, OK - STOP.* OK - Proceed to Step 7.7. Perform Return Line Pressure Test. For further information refer to the section, "Return Line Pressure Test". Results:* REPAIRED, OK - STOP.* OK - Proceed to Step 8.8. Perform Aerated Oil Test. For further information refer to the section, "Aerated Oil Test". Results:* REPAIRED, OK - STOP.* OK - Cause for problem not found with this test. The test equipment may be faulty, a repair may have been made incorrectly, or an error may have been made during the diagnosis of this problem. Check to determine whether or not the problem is still present. If it is, repeat test procedure. STOP.
