start by: a) remove valves 1. Remove the valve seat inserts for the intake valves with tooling (A). 2. Remove the valve seat inserts for the exhaust valves with tooling (B). Valve seat bores must be clean and all burrs removed before valve seat inserts are installed.Install Valve Seat Inserts
1. Use tooling (A) to install the valve seat inserts for the intake valves. 2. Use tooling (B) to install the valve seat inserts for the exhaust valves.
Do not increase the diameter of the extractor when the valve seat insert is installed. Damage to the valve seat insert or the bore of the head will be the result.
