Front Right Side of the MachineThe pressure reducing valve is located on the right side of the machine. In order to gain access to the valve, remove the panel from the right side of the machine.

(1) Pressure Reducing Valve.The pressure reducing valve is mounted on the end of the steering and decking blade valve. Pressure reducing valve (1) supplies hydraulic oil to the accumulator (pilot oil), the differential lock valve, and the pilot valve of the hydraulic system.When the machine is operating, the hydraulic pump pumps oil from the hydraulic tank. Oil flows from the pump to the brake priority valve. Oil flows from the brake priority valve to the steering valve, the decking blade valve, the pressure reducing valve and the implement valves. Pressure reducing valve (1) controls the oil pressure of the pilot oil for the pilot valve.When the pressure of the hydraulic system is above 2760 kPa (400 psi), pressure reducing valve (1) shifts allowing oil to flow back to the hydraulic tank.
