Choose the location for creating product icons. Only the Detect client icon is created. For server installs, additional shortcuts to run the server programs are located in "\mstarFiles\systems\main\shortcuts".

Choose one of the following type of install set:"Server OracleXE" - Installs a new Server installation including installing a new copy of OracleXE. This install set is for new servers that do not contain any version of Oracle or MineStar system. For installation of Server OracleXE, proceed to Step 16."Server Oracle" - Installs a new Server installation using an existing installation of Oracle 11g. This install set is for new servers that do not contain any version of MineStar system and have a new Oracle installation that does not contain any databases. Refer to Systems Operation, "Server Install" for installation of Oracle. For a Server Oracle installation, proceed to Step 20."Client" - If installing Client (selected by default), the software will ask then user on the next screen in the process, the name of the server the client for connection to. For installation of Client, proceed to Step 13.Note: For a Client install, proceed to Step 13. For a Server OracleXE, proceed to Step 16. For a Server Oracle install, proceed to Step 20.

"Map Network Drive to MineStar Server" screen (1) Host name
Enter the host name (1) of the server to connect to. The name (1) entered must be reachable. Test the host name by running a command prompt and entering the command "ping hostname" where "hostname" is the name of the host. Ensure that the ping command receives replies.
Enter a drive letter to use to map the server. A network drive mapping is created to the "mstarFiles" folder on the server, which will have been shared when the server was installed. The client configuration is directed to the shared configuration on the server.If a network is already mapped or the user wishes to map the network manually, select the "Skip Mapping Network Drive" checkbox. The "Host Field" and "Drive Letter" fields will then be ignored.Note: If you have selected the "Skip Mapping Network Drive" check box, once the installer finishes, the user must run Supervisor and change the mapping of your central base directory.Perform the following procedure to change the mapping of the central base directory:
In Supervisor, select "Options" and "System Directories".
In the central base directory field, change the network drive path to point to the systems folder on the selected server before running the client. This field must be set to point to the main directory of the Server for Client to connect to.
Click "Next".For Client installation, proceed to Step 24.Note: Only OracleXE is supported.Note: By default, the install process searches for the OracleXE installer in the same directory as the Detect installer. If this installer is not found, the "Choose OracleXE Installer" screen will display prompting for and alternate location.
