When performing production processing in Cat® Terrain Office v1.1.2-23, v1.2-12, and v1.2-16, the Cat2DB service maybe noticeably slower.Solution
Three options are available to improve the processing speed of Cat2DB. Refer to following:Option 1 - Run two instances of CAT2DB to speed up processing of the machine productivity files. Two instances of Cat2DB running on the same server is not possible, so it is recommended to run the CAT2DB programs on separate servers (or even third).
Set up the first Cat2DB on primary machine with list of machines (most likely half the fleet or just Grading & Loading).
Set up the second Cat2DB on separate or backup machine the same way first was set up only selecting second half of machines (most likely other half of the fleet or just Drilling & Dragline).Option 2 - Reduce the size of the database by saving the older data on a regular basis.Option 3 - Restart the Cat2DB service to reset the feature.
