Lubricate the pivot bearings on the ejector cylinder. Four fittings are located on the right side of the machine near the ejector cylinder.If regular lubrication is performed at the recommended interval, only one or two shots of grease will be required at each fitting.Hoist Cylinder Bearings

Wipe all the fittings before you lubricate the hoist cylinder bearings.

Lubricate the lower hoist cylinder bearings through fitting (1) on each side of the machine.Note: Tip the body and fit the rear lock pin before greasing the lower bearing. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Body Support".
Lubricate the upper hoist cylinder bearings through fitting (2) on each side of the machine.Oscillating Hitch
Check that lines attached to remote grease fittings are undamaged. If the lines are split grease will not reach the bearings or pins. Machine damage will result.The hitch bearings must be lubricated regularly. Rapid wear will result from inadequate lubrication.
Park the machine on a level surface. Ensure that the parking brake is fully engaged. Lower the dump body and stop the engine.If regular lubrication is carried out at the recommended interval, the fittings for the oscillating hitch pins should only need one or two shots of grease. As many as 20 shots of grease, may be used in order to lubricate the bearings for the oscillating hitch.
Install the steering frame lock. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Steering Frame Lock".
