Remove the gear motor (vibratory). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Motor (Vibratory) - Remove".Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Remove screw (5), spring (4), and ball (3) from housing (2) .
Repeat Step 1 on screw (1) .

Mark the orientation of cover (6) and housing (2). Remove bolts (7) and carefully separate cover (6) from housing (2) .

Remove driven gear (11) and drive gear (8) from cover (6) .
Remove dowel pins (9) and (10) from cover (6) .
