Reports of stick cracks have been received for certain 349D and 349D2Excavators. The cracks are located at the PT4 boss butt weld area. Illustration 1 shows the location of the cracks that have been reported.

If the Stick on your machine has cracks in the PT4 boss butt weld area, contact your Cat Technical Communicator so that a Service Request can be submitted to the Dealer Solution Network (DSN).
