Information:
1. Remove engine side cover (1).2. Put identification on the wires that are connected to the starting motor.3. Disconnect wires (2), (3), (4) and (5) from the starting motor. 4. Fasten a hoist to the starting motor. Remove three bolts (6) that hold the starting motor to the flywheel housing. Remove starting motor (7) from the flywheel housing. The weight is approximately 60 lb. (27 kg).Install Starting Motor
1. Inspect the gasket for the starting motor. Install a new gasket if needed. 2. Fasten a hoist and put starting motor (2) in position on the flywheel housing and install three bolts (1) that hold the starting motor in place. 3. Connect all wires to the starting motor. 4. Install engine side cover (3).
