Information:

1. Remove right hand door assemblies (1) and (2) from the engine enclosure.2. For installation purposes, mark and identify all wires and cable assemblies prior to removal. 3. Remove nut (8) and the washer from electric starting motor (5). Disconnect two cable assemblies (4) and (7) from electric starting motor (5). Disconnect two wires (3) and (6) from electric starting motor (5). 4. Position boot (11), off cable assembly (12) as shown. Remove nut (9) and the hard washer from terminal assembly (10). Disconnect cable assembly (12) from terminal assembly (10). 5. Remove two nuts (14) and (15), the hard washers, and electric starting motor cover (16) from terminal assembly (10). Disconnect wire (13) from terminal assembly (10). 6. Remove nut (18) and the washers from terminal assembly (10). Disconnect wire (17) from terminal assembly (10). 7. Position a lifting sling around electric starting motor (5) as shown. Secure the lifting sling to a hoist. Remove three, twelve point head bolts (19) and electric starting motor (5) from the flywheel housing. The weight of electric starting motor (5) is 34 Kg (75 lb). 8. Remove gasket (20) from electric starting motor (5). The following steps are for the installation of the electric starting motor.9. Make sure all components of the electric starting motor are clean of dirt and foreign material prior to installation. Remove all gasket material from all mating surfaces of the electric starting motor.10. Check all components for wear or damage and replace if necessary. 11. Position gasket (20) on electric starting motor (5). 12. Position a lifting sling around electric starting motor (5) as shown. Secure the lifting sling to a hoist. Put electric starting motor (5) in position on the flywheel housing. Install three, twelve point head bolts (19). The weight of electric starting motor (5) is 34 Kg (75 lb). 13. Connect wire (17) to terminal assembly (10). Install nut (18) and the washers to terminal assembly (10). Tighten nut (18) to a torque of 2.25 .25 N m (20 22 lb in). 14. Connect wire (13) to terminal assembly (10). Install electric starting motor cover (16), the washers, and two nuts (14) and (15) to terminal assembly (10). Tighten nut (14) to a torque of 2.25 .25 N m (20 2 lb in). 15. Connect cable assembly (12) to terminal assembly (10). Install nut (9) and the washer to terminal assembly (10). Position boot (11) over cable assembly (12). Tighten nut (9) to a torque of 31 4 N m (22 3 lb ft). 16. Connect two cable assemblies (4) and (7) to electric starting motor (5). Connect two wires (3) and (6) to electric starting motor (5). Install nut (8) and the washer to electric starting motor (5). Tighten nut (8) to a torque of 31 4 N m (22 3 lb ft). 17. Install right hand door assemblies (1) and (2) to engine enclosure.
