Connect a 41,368 kPa (6,000 psi) pressure gauge to pressure tap (1) .
Connect a 41,368 kPa (6,000 psi) pressure gauge to pressure tap (2) .
Connect a 3445 kPa (500 psi) pressure gauge to pressure tap (3) . This pressure gauge is used to monitor power shift pressure.
Start the engine.
Increase the hydraulic oil temperature to 55° 5°C (131° 9°F).
Start Service Mode and input a fixed power shift pressure of 2900 kPa (420 psi).ReferenceRefer to Testing and Adjusting, "Relief Valve (Line) - Test and Adjust".
Move the joystick for the stick to the full STICK OUT position. Hold the joystick for the stick in this position and check the pressure gauge reading at pressure tap (1) or (2) .
Return the joystick for the stick to the NEUTRAL position.Note: The stick lowering control valve is located on the stick cylinder.

The pressure gauge reading should be 32500 + 1500 - 1000 kPa (4714 + 218 - 145 psi). If the pressure reading at pressure tap (1) or (2) is not within the specification, adjust line relief valve (4) on the stick lowering control valve.
Move the joystick for the stick to the full STICK OUT position. Hold the joystick for the stick in this position and check the pressure gauge reading at pressure tap (1) or (2) .
In order to adjust line relief valve (4) , loosen locknut (5) and turn adjustment screw (6) until the pressure gauge reading at pressure tap (1) or (2) is 32500 + 1500 - 1000 kPa (4714 + 218 - 145 psi).Note: Turn the adjustment screw clockwise in order to increase the pressure. Turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise in order to decrease the pressure.Note: Always make final pressure adjustment on pressure rise.
Tighten locknut (5) to a torque of 29.5 2 N m (22 1.5 lb ft).
