Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the counterweight. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Counterweight - Remove".

Remove cover (1) .

Remove pin (3) and reposition the gas spring assembly and hood assembly (2). Secure the gas spring assembly and hood assembly (2) .

Remove bolts (4) and reposition fuel filter assembly (5) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to the front of engine (6). The weight of engine (6) is approximately 250 kg (550 lb). Apply slight tension to the suitable lifting device.
Remove bolt (7). Repeat for the other side. Use the suitable lifting device in order to raise the front of engine (6) by approximately 25 mm (1.0 inch). Remove engine front mount (8). Repeat for the other side.Installation Procedure

Install engine front mount (8). Repeat for the other side. Use the suitable lifting device in order to lower the front of engine (6). Install bolt (7). Tighten bolt (7) to a torque of 270 40 N m (200 30 lb ft). Repeat for the other side.
Remove the suitable lifting device from engine (6) .

Position fuel filter assembly (5) and install bolts (4) .

Position the gas spring assembly and hood assembly (2) and install pin (3) .

Install cover (1) .End By: Install the counterweight. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Counterweight - Install".
