START BY:a. remove fuel injection valve1. Loosen rocker arm adjustment so push rods can be separated from ball on adjusting screw.2. Mark the position of each bridge, and remove them. 3. Use tool (A) to remove nozzle adapter (1). 4. Remove O-ring seal (3) and gasket (2) from adapter (1).5. Thoroughly clean adapter (1).6. Install a new O-ring seal and gasket on the adapter.7. Put liquid soap in the bores of the cylinder head and on the seals of the fuel injection nozzle adapters.8. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of the adapter.9. Inspect the bore in the cylinder head. Be sure all rust and scale have been removed and the seat for the gasket is clean.10. Install the adapters into the cylinder head. Use tool (A) and a torque wrench to tighten them to a torque of 135 5 N m (100 4 lb.ft.).11. Install the valve bridges in their original locations. Check and adjust, if necessary, valve bridge clearance. See Install Push Rods, Valve Lifters And Valve Bridges.12. Install the push rods and adjust the valves.
