Rework Procedure
Refer to the Service Manual if/as necessary and see the following rework procedure to update the handrail group.

1. Remove bracket (C) and the connection between the two toe-kicks (D). These parts will not be reused.

(F) 39 +/- 2 mm (1.5 +/- 0.08 inch)
(G) 12 +/- 2 mm (0.5 +/- 0.08 inch)
(W1) 3 mm (0.1 inch) fillet weld
2. Place and weld plate_1 (1) as per dimensions shown Image1.2.2.

3. Mount plate_2 (2) on plate_1 (1) using two 8T-4200 Bolts (5) and two 8T-4224 Hard Washers (4).
4. Secure the toe-kick (D) to plate-02 (2) using two 8T-4189 Bolts (3) and two 8T-4224 Hard Washers (4) on the front of the toe-kick, and two 5P-4116 hard washers (- 12) and two 344-5674 nuts (11) on the back of the toe-kick.

5. Cut and place 80 mm (3.1 inch) of 371-8113 Hose (6) on the handrail assembly as per dimensions shown in Image1.4.1.
6. Glue hose to the handrail assembly using Loctite Black Contact Adhesive (7).

7. Drill hole of diameter 19.05 mm (0.750 inch) on the top and bottom of gate. Ensure the holes are drilled inline with former holes or gate may not swing freely.

8. Lubricate with anti-seize and insert the 5V-2846 Spacer (8) on the drilled hole. Such that, the spacer sits on the 5P-8248 Hard Washer (9). Refer to Image1.7.1.

9. Insert 8T-4910 Bolt (10) and 8T-4223 Hard Washer (11) in the spacer. Tighten bolt to a torque of 100 N.m (74 lb ft).
10. Follow from Step 8 through Step 9 to install hardware on the bottom of the gate.
