ENGINE AR-PRIMARY 3536824 - Caterpillar

1. The fuel pressure sensor is located behind left hand door assemblies (1) and (2). 2. Disconnect wire harness (4) at the electrical connection.3. Remove fuel pressure sensor (3) and the O-ring seal from cylinder head (5). The following steps are for the installation of the sensor (fuel pressure).4. Make sure all components of the fuel pressure sensor are clean of dirt and foreign material prior to installation.5. Check the O-ring seal and components for wear or damage and replace if necessary.6. Install the O-ring seal and fuel pressure sensor (3) in cylinder head (5). Tighten fuel pressure sensor (3) to a torque of 10 2 N m (90 18 lb in).7. Connect wire harness (4) at the electrical connection.8. Prime the fuel system.
