The cooling system relief valve is located underneath access panel (1) in front of the engine air cleaner on the upper deck. Clean the relief valve or replace the relief valve if the system overheats or if you observe a loss of coolant.
Lift access panel (1) .

Slowly loosen radiator cap (2) in order to relieve system pressure. Remove the radiator cap.
Remove five bolts and five washers from cooling system relief valve (3). Remove the valve assembly.
Clean the valve assembly and clean the cover of the relief valve.
Inspect the following components of the cooling system relief valve:
Valve seals
Valve gasket
Relief valve
Valve cover
Mounting boltsReplace any of the components that are damaged.
Install the valve assembly. Install five washers and five bolts. Tighten the bolts.
Install radiator cap (2) .
Close access panel (1) .
