PROBLEM
The existing loader pilot valve can become inoperative on certain 420E, 430E, 432E, 434E, 442E and 444E Backhoe Loaders. If the existing 2672760/">267-2760 Loader Pilot Valve fails, the operator will be unable to actuate the lift and tilt functions of the loader. The joystick becomes inoperative when the actuators are no longer aligned with the plungers in the pilot valve.

ACTION REQUIRED
If the actuators are no longer aligned with the plungers in the pilot valve, replace the pilot valve. When re-installing the control handle to the pilot valve, use a back-up wrench to prevent over-tightening. The jamnut for the control handle uses loctite and should be tightened to a torque of 40 Nm.
