At operating temperature the implement hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns.To prevent possible injury, release the pressure in the implement hydraulic system before hydraulic lines or components are disconnected or removed.
Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, hoses, and tubes. This helps to prevent fluid loss and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.
Move the machine to a smooth, level surface.
Engage the parking brake.

Attach a suitable hoist and lifting slings to upper grill (1), as shown.
Remove six bolts (2).
Use the hoist in order to remove upper grill (1) from the radiator guard. The weight of upper grill (1) is 39 kg (85 lb).

Attach a suitable hoist and lifting slings to lower grill (3), as shown.
Remove six bolts (4).
Use the hoist in order to remove lower grill (3) from the radiator guard. The weight of lower grill (3) is 36 kg (80 lb).

Disconnect hose assemblies (5) from fan drive motor (6).
Remove clamps (7) and place hose assemblies (5) aside.

Remove seven bolts (8) and the washers. Remove center fan guard assembly (9). Repeat this procedure for the opposite side.

Remove five bolts (10) and the washers. Remove lower grill (11).

Remove five bolts (12) and the washers. Remove upper grill (13).

Install Tooling (A) to fan assembly, as shown.
Attach a suitable hoist and lifting slings to Tooling (A).

Remove eight bolts (14).
Use the hoist in order to remove fan assembly (15). The weight of fan assembly (15) is 113 kg (250 lb).

Place fan assembly (15) on suitable cribbing, as shown.
Remove locknut (16) and the washer.

Attach a suitable hoist and lifting slings to fan (17), as shown.
Remove eight bolts (18) and the washers.
Use the hoist in order to remove fan (17). The weight of fan (17) is 41 kg (90 lb).

Use Tooling (B) in order to remove adapter (19).

Attach a suitable hoist and a suitable lifting sling to fan drive motor (20), as shown.
Remove two bolts (21) and the washers.
Use the hoist in order to remove fan drive motor (20). The weight of fan drive motor (20) is 20 kg (45 lb).
