Information:

(1) Get the engines, generators, engine and generator or engine and marine transmissions in alignment; use the Special Instructions shown on the front page for the correct alignment procedures. Install 3N5573 Spacer Assembly (1) as shown. Loosely install eight bolts (2). Install 7L7524 Bolt (3) and 3K6060 Nut (4); tighten nut (4) to 45 7 N m (32 5 lb. ft.) torque. Tighten bolts (2). Remove bolt (3) and the nut. Keep bolt (3) and the nut; they will be needed to fasten the two halves of the spacer together when they are removed from the machine.
Bolt (3) and the nut must be removed before the engine is operated. If the nut becomes loose or the bolt breaks, centrifugal force can throw the parts out and cause personal injury or death.
