Remove the hood (engine).
Remove the hood (clean emissions module).
Open both access doors.

Use two people to remove door assembly (2). The weight of door assembly (2) is approximately 29 kg (64 lb). Remove bolts (1) and door assembly (2).

Remove plugs (3) from the counterweight.
Disconnect harness assembly (4) and cut the cable ties holding harness assembly (4) to the counterweight.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to counterweight (5). The weight of counterweight (5) is approximately 7484 kg (16500 lb).

Apply slight lifting tension to counterweight (5). Remove bolts (6) and counterweight (5). Installation Procedure
Install counterweight (5) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (B) to the thread of bolts (6).
Tighten plugs (3) to a torque of 200 20 N (45 4 lb).
