(1) Power train oil cooler
(A) Outlet
(B) Inlet Power train oil cooler (1) is mounted along the front of the engine. Engine coolant goes through power train oil cooler (1) in order to help cool the oil for the power train. Oil from the torque converter flows into power train oil cooler (1). The oil will then flow from power train oil cooler (1) to the left-hand side of the transmission. The oil will help to lubricate the transmission. The oil then flows down into the torque converter sump. The cool oil also helps to cool the other oil that is collected in the torque converter sump.
