Removal Procedure
Start By:a. Release the system pressure.b. Connect the steering frame lock.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Hot oil and hot components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or hot components to contact skin.

Remove cover assembly (1).

Disconnect the hose assemblies from tilt control valve (2).
Disconnect harness assembly (3).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to tilt control valve (2). The weight of tilt control valve (2) is approximately 30 kg (66 lb).
Remove mounting bolts (4) and tilt control valve (2).Installation Procedure
Install tilt control valve (2) in the reverse order of removal.
