Hold the steering wheel with both hands.
Try to move the steering wheel from one side to the other side. The maximum allowed movement in the steering column should not exceed 25 mm (1.0 inch). If the value is not within the limit, perform the following steps:
Inspect the pivot joint for loose bolts.
Tighten the bolts if the bolts are loose. Note: Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the bolts before tightening.
Inspect the pivot joint for excessive wear.
Replace the bushings if there is excessive wear.
Failure to perform this inspection and repair may cause loss of steering control, which may result in personal injury or death.Do not operate the machine until the inspection and repair are completed.
