1 32 124-1855 Bolt Use 194 mm (7.6 inch) length for the following bolts: bolt 1 through bolt 10, bolt 15, bolt 17, bolt 19, bolt 21, bolt 23, and bolt 25.
Use 216 mm (8.5 inch) length for the following bolts: bolt 11 through bolt 14, bolt 16, bolt 18, bolt 20, bolt 22, bolt 24, and bolt 26.
Use 149.9 mm (5.90 inch) length for the bolt 27 through bolt 39.
Use the following procedure in order to tighten the cylinder head bolts:
Before assembly, apply 4C-5592 Anti-Seize Compound to the bolt threads and to both sides of the washers for bolt 1 through bolt 26.
1. Tighten the bolt 1 through bolt 26 in a numerical sequence to 270 15 N m (200 11 lb ft) as shown in the Illustration 1.
2. Tighten the bolt 1 through bolt 26 in a numerical sequence to 450 15 N m (330 11 lb ft) as shown in the Illustration 1.
3. Again, tighten the bolt 1 through bolt 26 in a numerical sequence to 450 15 N m (330 11 lb ft) as shown in the Illustration 1.
4. Tighten the bolt 27 through bolt 39 in a numerical sequence to 45 7 N m (33 5 lb ft) as shown in the Illustration 1.

2 24 2W-0482 Taperlock Stud Install the taperlock studs so that the letter "Y" is showing.
Torque to 35 5 N m (26 4 lb ft).
A - - Orientation of the bushing joint is 20 3 degrees below horizontal.
4 7 216-5582 Bushing Installation depth of the bushing for camshaft is important. Install the bushing to the following depths:
Dimension (B) is 8.0 0.5 mm (0.31 0.02 inch).
Dimension (C) is 227.5 0.5 mm (8.96 0.02 inch).
Dimension (D) is 411.7 0.5 mm (16.21 0.02 inch).
Dimension (E) is 595.8 0.5 mm (23.46 0.02 inch).
Dimension (F) is 780.0 0.5 mm (30.71 0.02 inch).
Dimension (G) is 964.1 0.5 mm (37.96 0.02 inch).
Dimension (H) is 1140.3 0.5 mm (44.89 0.02 inch).
Camshaft bearings must be installed into their correct position. Failure to do so will result in engine damage.

7 6 263-4920 Injector Sleeve Before assembly, apply green Loctite 620 to press fit diameter of the lower end of injector sleeves.
Press the injector sleeve to the bottom of the face (8).
R - - Installation depth for cup plugs is 1.25 0.25 mm (0.049 0.010 inch).
