Remove plastic cover (15) from valve mechanism cover (11).
Remove screws (16). Remove plate (17).
Remove assembly of diaphragm (18) and the cap (19). Remove spring (20).

If necessary, remove the shut off valve from the valve mechanism cover (11). Follow Steps 4.a through 4.c in order to remove the shut off valve from the valve mechanism cover.
Remove the valve mechanism cover. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Valve Mechanism Cover - Remove and Install".
Remove bolts (21) from shut off valve assembly (22).
Remove shut off valve assembly (22) from the valve mechanism cover (11). Assembly Procedure

If necessary, install shut off valve assembly to the valve mechanism cover (5). Follow Steps 1.a through 1.f in order to install shut off valve assembly to the valve mechanism cover.
Ensure that all components of the shut off valve assembly are clean and free from damage. Replace any components that are damaged.
The ball in shut off valve assembly (22) must be free to move.
Install shut off valve assembly (22) to the valve mechanism cover (11).
Install bolts (21) to shut off valve assembly (22).
Use Tooling (A) to tighten bolts (21) to a torque of 1.3 N m (12 lb in).
Install the valve mechanism cover. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Valve Mechanism Cover - Remove and Install".

Personal injury can result from parts and/or covers under spring pressure.Spring force will be released when covers are removed.Be prepared to hold spring loaded covers as the bolts are loosened.
Ensure that all components of the crankcase breather are clean and free from damage. Replace any components that are damaged.
Install spring (20). Install assembly of diaphragm (18) and cap (19).
Position plate (17) on valve mechanism cover (11) and install screws (16).
Use Tooling (A) to tighten bolts (16) to a torque of 1.3 N m (12 lb in).
Install plastic cover (15) to valve mechanism cover (11). Installation Procedure

Install new O-ring seal (13) and O-ring seal (14) to breather tube (1). Use Tooling (B) in order to lubricate the O-ring seal (13).
Install breather tube (1) to valve mechanism cover (11). Install bolt (12) and tighten the bolt to a torque of 9 N m (80 lb in).

If necessary, install bracket (7). Position the bracket onto the cylinder block and install bolts (8). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 44 N m (32 lb ft).
Position filter base (4) onto bracket (7) and install bolts (9). Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 22 N m (16 lb ft).
Install clips (2) to hose (3). Install hose (3) to connection (1) on the valve mechanism cover and to filter base (6). Tighten the clips securely.
Install clip (6) to hose (5). Install the hose to filter base (4). Tighten the clips securely.
Install a new canister (10) to filter base (4). Refer
