For 3116 machine engines with 1-Piece pistons, the new CCS top piston rings were effective with the following engine serial numbers: 4TF39882, 98Z24774, and 1CK13752. For 3116 machine engines with 2-Piece pistons, the new CCS top piston rings were effective with the following engine serial numbers: 4TF43199, 98Z21372, 1CK13737, and 7TM1170. For 3126 machine engines, the new CCS top piston rings were effective at first production, except for the Challenger 55. The new (CCS) top piston rings were effective for the Challenger 55 beginning with engine serial number 55K1552.
