Removal Procedure

The fuel manifold is located on the Clean Emissions Module. Pilot valve is valve assembly (1) and main valve is valve assembly (2).
Illustration 2 g03346432Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, clean the exterior of the component thoroughly. This action will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
Remove nut (6), washer (5), and solenoid (4) from valve assembly (1).
Remove cartridge assembly (3) and remove O-ring seals (2). Installation Procedure
Install the solenoid valve (1) and solenoid valve (2) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten cartridge assembly (3) to a torque of 50 5 N m (37 4 lb ft).
Tighten nut (6) to a torque of 20 2.5 N m (177 22 lb in).
