Remove the tires and the rims. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tire and Rim (Front) - Remove and Install".
Remove the front drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drive Shaft (Front) - Remove and Install".
Remove the counterweight. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Counterweight - Remove and Install". Note: SERVICE DATA: TOOLING (ZZ) WILL NOT BE IDENTIFIED IN PHOTOGRAPHS IN THE REMOVAL OR THE INSTALLATION. THIS TOOLING IS SHOWN IN ORDER TO ASSIST THE EXPERIENCED SERVICEMAN.

Disconnect hose assembly (2). Repeat for the other side. Remove bolt (1).

Install a suitable lifting device to both sides of front axle (3). The weight of front axle (3) is approximately 408 kg (900 lb).

Remove pin assembly (4). Remove front axle (3). Note: The flange of pin assembly (4) must be rotated downward in order to clear the frame.

Remove seal (5). Use Tooling (A) in order to remove bushing (6). Repeat for the other side.
