Information:
General
Operate the engine at full rpm for maximum steering and propel control response. Operation below full throttle will slow turning rate or propel system response. When climbing steep grades, the propulsion control lever must be moved SLOWLY to avoid engine stall and possible loss of machine control.Release secondary/parking brake before operating machine. Failure to release before operating will damage secondary/parking brake and could result in a runaway machine.
If the light in the brake button does not go off when the brake button is pulled out the brake may not be released. Move the steering wheel slightly to activate the brake valve and if the light remains ON do not operate the machine.Obtain desired travel speed before engaging the vibratory system.Do not operate vibratory system at less than 1400 vpm.Avoid using the leveling blade as plow or digging device. Machine damage may occur.
Vibratory Operation
When approaching the area to be compacted, place the vibratory system ON. 1. Move the vibratory control switch up to the ON position. 2. Monitor the number of vibrations per minute with the VPM gauge.3. Shut off vibratory system by moving vibratory control switch down to the OFF position.
