Remove top bolt (1). Install Tooling (A). Remove remaining bolts (1).
Fasten Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to flywheel (2). The weight of flywheel (2) is approximately 85 kg (187 lb).Note: If engine is equipped with a Rear Power Take-Off RPTO, install Tooling (C). This will hold the RPTO gear tight against the end of the crankshaft during the removal of the flywheel.
Remove flywheel (2).
Use a hammer and a punch to remove the flywheel ring gear, if necessary.
