To prevent possible bodily injury, make sure hot hydraulic oil has cooled and all pressure is released from the hydraulic system.
Start By:a. Tag and identify all lines and electrical connectors. 1. Disconnect two electrical connectors (1) and cut two wire ties (2). 2. Disconnect two electrical connectors (3) and cut two wire ties (4). 3. Remove four lines (5). Cap and plug immediately. 4. Remove tee fitting (6). Cap and plug immediately. 5. Remove two lines (7). Cap and plug immediately. 6. Remove four bolts (8) and remove two-stack control valve. For installation, reverse the removal steps.Disassemble & Assemble Two-Stack Control Valve. 5479-015
1. Remove four bolts (1) and remove plate (2). 2. Remove coil (3). 3. Remove long bushing (4), spring (5) and short bushing (6). 4. Remove sleeve (7) and spring (8). 5. Remove piston (9) and valve (10). 6. Remove pin (11) and two O-rings (12).7. Repeat steps 1 - 6 to remove remaining three coil assemblies (3). 8. Remove two spring seats (13).9. Repeat step 8 to remove opposite side. 10. Remove two spools (14). Mark each stack to its respective housing.11. Remove two bolts (15) and remove single port stack (16). 12. Remove two O-rings (17). Measure and record height from body on adjustment stud (20). Mark fittings (18) and (23) (back side of housing) to their respective side on the single port stack.13. Remove fitting (18). 14. Remove lock nut (19), stud (20) and O-ring (21). 15. Remove spool (22). 16. Remove fitting (23). 17. Remove O-ring (24), piston (25), spring (26), spring (27) and ball (28). 18. Remove plug (29) and O-ring (30). 19. Remove two bolts (31) and remove double port stack (32). 20. Remove two O-rings (33). 21. Remove relief valve (34). 22. Remove two O-rings (35) and backup ring (36).23. Repeat steps 21 and 22 to remove opposite side. 24. Remove spool (37). 25. Remove three nuts (38), three studs (39) and two brackets (40). 26. Separate housing (41) and remove two O-rings (42). The following steps are for the assembly of the two-stack control valve. All valve components must be cleaned and inspected before assembly. If any components are worn beyond recommended limits they must be replaced. Lubricate all moving parts with clean oil during assembly. Assemble valve with all new seals. 27.
